Browse through "Themes of the Times" and read one article of your choice.
Explain which part(s) of the course you expect to be the most interesting. Explain which article of the "Physical Review Focus" you think is the most important. Describe briefly the content of the article of "Themes of the Times" you read. Feel free to express interest for topics not covered in the reading assignment. It would be useful to me if you could tell me what is your major and what is your background in physics and mathematics.
