This seminar will feature talks by University of Iowa faculty, staff and students who are applying quantitative, computational or mathematical methods to treat problems in the biosciences. The purpose of the series of talks is to expose faculty, staff and students with quantitative backgrounds to current research problems at the frontiers of the biological and medical sciences. The seminars are open to all faculty, students and research staff. Abstracts of previous talks are available upon request.
