The first exam will be on Monday, September 27, 1999 in class. You may bring a 3x5 index card with whatever formulae you need. I will append to the exam a copy of the front and back cover pages (two pages each). The topic of the exam is electrostatics, as covered in Chapter 2. All the material in Chapter 1 is assumed.
The Final Exam is scheduled for Wednesday, December 15 at noon. The exam will cover chapters 5 and 6, and I will attempt to make it the same length as the previous two exams.
