Budget

Special items:

• 11 months of graduate student salary for L. Li who plays an important role in several ongoing projects, (one more month than in last year budget).
• The Lattice 2003 conference in Tsukuba. The cost of this trip to Japan is unfortunately very high.
• A new computer (2,027 dollars) which can be used as a server for our existing 4-node cluster and possibly for the 16 node cluster that we hope will be funded by the University.

For these reasons, the submitted budget is 9,665 dollars higher than the one that was approved last year.
